We were "able" to drive all the way to Lake Tahoe for the Coleman Family Reunion! We had such a good time. Landon was a complete angel in the car. He only had 1 minor breakdown about half way there. But we kept him plenty occupied with treats and toys, and that made a world of difference! We camped with bears, and we all survived. I wish I had the video my bro. in law took of a bear just 2 feet in front of my tent. He was snacking on a package of oreo's that someone left out!! It was a good thing we were leaving that day, or I would have found a cheap hotel to stay in! We stayed in Carson City the 1st night at Craig's house (David's bro), then at the Parents house the 2nd night in Gardnerville. It was so fun to see all the cousins and watch the kiddos play. Landon was in heaven!
We brought Landon's bike with us, and what a good thing it was! It kept him occupied for a majority of the time. He loves cruising around on that thing.
