Changes....

I just accepted an offer to work at McKay-Dee hospital in their Same Day Surgery/PACU unit. Although I am very excited to be so close to home, I am soooooo sad to leave my old job. I have such awesome co-workers and friends there. It has seriously been the hardest struggle deciding what to do. The hour long commutes are definitely overrated and I need to spend that time with my family! This new position brings an additional 8 hrs/week. It will be hard, I know I am going to shed many tears when I drop off my boys (sorry Melissa) but it is something that we need to do right now. I know they will be in excellent hands. That is another change that we are facing. Janet, Landon's previous babysitter decided she wasn't up for watching a newborn right now. So we made the switch to a new sitter. Melissa, my neighbor/friend is going to watch my boys. We will definitely miss Janet, but I am so happy to know I am taking them to an awesome lady I know and trust! I can't believe that my 12 weeks of maternity leave is almost up! Where does the time go?! I have cherished the time home with my boys and am grateful I was able to take the full 12 weeks. That is definitely something this mama needed!

Tanner's Blessing Day

Tanner was blessed yesterday by his daddy. David did such an amazing job and our little boy was blessed with such wonderful things. David's parents were able to make it from out of town. I love that both of our families are so supportive. We had a fun party after the blessing to celebrate Tanner's special day (and the superbowl)! I forgot to get the camera out and take pics of the family but I did manage to get some happy pics of my handsome little boy! : )
