Hey everyone, welcome to our new blogspot. We figured (well, mostly me) that since our little family is getting bigger this would be an exciting way to keep everyone updated on all of our adventures.
How did it all start? Let me begin......I had just finished my bachelor's degree and was working in Idaho Falls. I was getting really anxious with life and needed a change. I talked a friend of mine (Brandi) into doing a traveling nurse job with me. I really wanted to go to Arizona and enjoy some fun in the sun. Shortly after my decision to do this I was informed I had to be a nurse for at least 2 years before "traveling" to AZ. I was devastated, but hopeful at other possibilities. Brandi and I decided upon Los Angeles. We arrived on a Saturday and I met David (through Brandi's flirtatious behavior-THANKS BRANDI) on Monday. He was actually moving to Salt Lake a couple of weeks after my arrival to L.A. and it was "just meant to be" that we found each other. After my California assignment I followed David to Utah...he was definitely waiting for me there;). We were married on September 30th, 2005--it was the best decision of our lives.
We eventually made our way to Idaho while David finished his bachelor's degree at BYU-Idaho. We had the time of our lives there. We had an amazing ward and met awesome people that we became close friends with. When our journey officially ended at BYU-I last August we made our way to Denver, CO for work and play. David was completing his internship, and I once again completed a traveling nurse assignment at The Denver's Children Hospital. Our short stay (13 weeks) was an eye opener. We realized living close to family was a priority for us....so back to Utah we came. And here we are 2 1/2 years later! We are expecting a baby BOY on October 17th.
Although our lives have changed drastically over the past couple of years we wouldn't change a thing. We have enjoyed being married and are so excited to bring a baby into our family!
Well, that should bring everyone up-to-date. Stay posted, we would like to keep this blog updated.....at least every couple of weeks. We would also love to hear from all of you on how everything is going! So, check back often!
